Govt to end gas load shedding from country: Dr Asim

The government has decided to end gas load shedding from the country and to continue the smooth gas supply to CNG stations according to fixed quota. Talking to Online Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain said that the government would fix the gas supply quota for the CNG stations to eradicate gas load shedding from the country. 






He said after quota allotment to CNG stations it would be the business of CNG stations to consume their quota in a day or in a month. He said after this decision to allot gas quota to CNG stations gas pressure for all the consumers would be improved. Talking about usage of LPG in the country federal minister said that LPG is much better fuel than CNG  and government is devising mechanism to convert transport sector on LPG rather CNG. The minister emphasized that we have to initiate work on other projects except gas. He said that CNG is valuable fuel in the world and we are wasting it at less cost. he said that government is promoting LNG in the country and in this regard steps are being taken. He said government had never think to import gas as we had sufficient resources in the country but due to massive usage of CNG today we are facing shortage of it. Dr Asim said that variation in the petroleum prices would be decided after every fifteen days.
