Balochistan JUP leader shot dead in Quetta

QUETTA: Unidentified men shot dead religious leader and Balochistan Jamiat-e-Ulema Pakistan (JUP) chief Maulvi Mohammad Qasim in Quetta on Friday 

The incident happened just before Friday prayers, which the religious cleric was supposed to lead, on Quetta’s Sariab Road.  

According to reports, the situation was tense in the area following the leader’s murder.
