Multan: Precious coins and ornaments of 1757s and 732s belonged to the Tughlaq Emperor were found two days ago from Multan, Pakistan’s city of Punjab province.
Multan: Precious coins and ornaments of 1757s and 732s belonged to the Tughlaq Emperor were found two days ago from Multan, Pakistan’s city of Punjab province.
The coins were found from Shujabad, an  oldest tehsil of Multan district, during the digging of a land belonged  to a landlord Chaudhry Aashiq.
According to the residents of the area,  the laborers during the digging found out an old bowl full of ancient  coins and ornaments which they took away and distributed among  themselves.
In the mean while when the land lord came to know about the incident, he told police regarding the event.
The SHO of the area rushed to the spot  and recovered some ornaments and coins while the larger part of the  discovered objects were not found.
