KARACHI: A day after when the city descended into violence as arsonists went on the rampage, killing at least 10 people and setting on fire over 40 vehicles, an activist of Awami National Party (ANP) was targeted killed on Wednesday near Matric Board Office in North Nazimabad, which flared violence in the metropolis yet again,
At least six vehicles, including three motorcycles, were set ablaze in Lasbela and Tin Hatti neighbourhood immediately after the incident.
A companion of the killed activist sustained injuries amid targeted attack on their vehicle.
Shops and small businesses in various parts of the city were also forced to shut down, according to initial reports.
