Hakimullah Mehsud is still alive!

Islamabad: Military sources have denied reports that Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud was killed in a US drone attack in North Waziristan on January 12.

According to a private television DAWN quoted to military sources that he was alive and the speculation about his death was a ruse to locate his whereabouts.

The region has witnessed numerous drone strikes.

Earlier, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan also denied the reports of Mehsud’s death.
